Sulekha is a household name in Bengal. The company now celebrates its 76th year. Sulekha manufactures a wide range of writing instruments, stationery items and homecare products.
  • Sulekha plans to set up a widespread distribution network in the state of West Bengal, followed by other states of East and North East India.

  • At present, Sulekha has a tie-up with Indian Oil for sale of its homecare products through LPG Distributors’ network and through Retail Outlets (Petrol Pumps) and Kerosene Dealers’ network throughout the states of West Bengal, Sikkim and A&N Islands.

  • Sulekha also has a tie-up with WBECSC Ltd. for distribution of its stationery and homecare products through PDS network throughout the state of West Bengal.

  • There is an exclusive tie-up between Sulekha and Indian Oil for awareness creation, promotion and distribution of its Sulekha Solar branded products through Retail Outlets and Kerosene Dealers’ network throughout the states of West Bengal, Sikkim and A&N Islands.

  • Sulekha also plans to set up a chain store branded as Sulekha Retail focusing mainly on a variety of school and office stationery, homecare products and renewable energy products.



Sulekha requires:

1.  Sales Manager

    The responsibility of a Sales Manager is to develop our detailed sales strategy and plan keeping in mind the marketing policies of the company and revenue targets. The incumbent would be required to plan such strategies that can win over new clients and retain the existing ones. The Sales Manager will be responsible for estimating the demand in the market for the company’s products and services and set targets accordingly.

 

    Typically, Sales Managers direct a company's sales program. They assign sales territories, set goals, and establish training programs for their sales representatives. Sales Managers may also advise their sales representatives on ways to improve their sales performances, achieve goals and generate targeted business.

 

   Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Developing and implementing marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
  • Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on all marketing activity and results
  • Determining and managing the marketing budget

   Education and Experience

  • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies

2.  Experienced Sales Personnel with experience in handling modern business/chain stores. She/he will work independently to generate business from the existing retail chain stores and institutions and will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities for the company in institutions/organizations.

   Responsibilities

  • Managing and Coordinating all modern business/chain stores
  • Collection of orders and dispatch monitoring
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Developing and implementing new customer oriented time based schemes
  • Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on all marketing activity and results
  • Determining and managing the budget

   Education and Experience

  • Experience in handing modern business/chain stores
  • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Experience with relevant software applications

3.  Young, dynamic and hardworking Executives who will be working as Channel Sales Managers over a territory with a Channel Partner of the Company. She/he will be responsible for the business development of the entire territory and will be required to generate the sales as per the target decided by the company from time to time.

  • Managing the Channel Partner
  • Continuous interaction with the channel partner to identify needs and to motivate them as per
    the policies and guidelines of the company

   Responsibilities

  • Generation of Purchase Order
  • Planning and execution of the incoming goods logistics

   Education and Experience

  • Should be a science graduate
  • Additional qualification related to finance/accounts is encouraged
  • Should have industry knowledge
  • Experience with relevant software applications

5.  Public Relations Officers
The responsibility of the PRO is to develop our overall PR strategy keeping in view the marketing policies of the company. The incumbent would be required to plan such strategies that can win over new customers and create brand awareness in emerging customer base through innovative and non-conventional techniques.

   Responsibilities

  • Developing Company's Advertisement Campaigns
  • Planning and executing school level programs, awareness campaigns, etc.
  • Planning, content development and publication of in-house news bulletins and magazines
  • Editing

   Education and Experience

  • Should have relevant professional degree(s)/certificates
  • Should have at least five years of industry experience

   Key Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and writing skills in Vernacular and English
  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, PageMaker and/or any DTP software
  • Organization and planning
  • Creative and artistic aptitude
  • Good references and acquaintances
