Sri Aurobindo
Sri Aurobindo (1872–1950) was an Indian philosopher, poet, nationalist, and spiritual teacher, born Aurobindo Ghosh in Kolkata, India. After being educated in England, he returned to India to become a revolutionary leader in the Indian freedom movement. In 1910, he moved to Pondicherry to devote himself to spiritual pursuits, developing a path of spirituality called Integral Yoga to transform life on Earth, and becoming a key spiritual figure.
